Supporting early research with exciting potential

$1.1 million was recently awarded in the latest round of funding in the New Jersey Health Foundation Research Grants Program.  Grants of up to $35,000 each for research projects with exciting potential were awarded. In addition, the hope is that this initial funding and related research will help applicants qualify for larger grants from other organizations in the future.

Full-time faculty members and personnel at these organizations affiliated with New Jersey Health Foundation are eligible to apply during research grant programs:

  • Kessler Foundation

  • Princeton University

  • New Jersey Institute of Technology

  • Rowan University

  • Rutgers University

  • Stevens Institute of Technology

The current grant application period is closed and applicants have been notified.  Check back for future grant application dates.

Grants must be used to fund only direct program costs. Grants cannot be used to fund overhead, tuition, indirect or investment management fees.
